Our Memorial Weekend 2.5 day trip fished offshore the first day and the Baja coast on the second day. Not much to catch in our zone yet, but the Albacore and Bluefin are on their way! There were some good catches made just out of our range and they will be in our backyard soon! The albacore were 8 to 15 pounds and the Bluefin were 20 to 40 pounds. The fish were located about 250 miles south of San Diego, so they could be here any day!

As for our trip, we picked up 29 yellowtail, about 150 quality Rockfish, 6 Lingcod and an abundance of big bonito. We enjoyed flat calm seas the day after a cold rainy storm so our timing with the weather could not have been better.
