The Grande will resume daily Full Day trips to the Coronado Islands this Friday with departures seven days a week at 5:30am from H&M Landing. Check-in begins at 4:30am and reservations are strongly recommended.

These trips will focus on the incredible spring Yellowtail bite, the best we’ve seen in several years! You may also see Barracuda, Bonito, Calico Bass and Rockfish in the mix, but the primary focus will be Yellowtail. The hot set-ups have been 40-50 pound test for Yo-Yo iron fishing with full size jigs such as the Salas 6x, Tady 4/0 Heavy and JRI 66 Heavy. The size of the Yellowtail this spring is phenomenal so we’ll stress it again: 40, 50, even 60 pound test line  with good strong reels such as a Shimano Trinidad 40, Penn Fathom 40, Daiwa Saltiga 40 or Accurate Valliant 500. 

Surface iron fishing and live bait fishing is always a possibility so bring your favorite light jigs and flyline tackle as well. These trips do require a passport so make sure you have that packed as well. For booking please call H&M at 619-222-1144 or logon to hmlanding.com
