Excellent island yellowtail bite!

25 anglers, Full Day Coronado Islands: 62 Yellowtail, 7 Barracuda, 12 Sand Bass, 6 Calico Bass, 2 Red Rockfish and 1 Lingcod. Tomorrow’s trip fishing the Coronado Islands targeting Yellowtail needs just a few more people booked to run!

 

Tackle recommendations for island trips: 

 

30lb flyline rod, a 40-50lb yo-yo rod and a jig stick. Remember to have fresh line on your reels and a pocket full of 1/0- 2/0 circle and j hooks. 6 oz torpedo sinkers and several yo-yo jigs like Salas 6x jr or equivalent. 

 

Full day Coronado Islands trips will be departing seven days a week. Departures are at 5:30 AM, check-in begins at 4:45 AM. Passports are required.
